Helsinki Seriös

Helsinki Seriös is a series of ten concerts featuring leading international artists. The concerts are held on Sundays from September to May, starting at 6 p.m. The venue is the Sibelius Academy’s traditional concert hall on Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu, in the heart of Helsinki. Viinikahvila Feeniks, run by Sami Garam and Jyrki Tarvonen, is open on concert evenings two hours before the concert and one hour after the concert.

Tickets at Lippu.fi: €40.00/€38.00/€16.00 + booking fee from €1.50 + 0.65% of the order. Tickets at the door by card only. Ticket sales for season 2026-2027 starts on June 15, 2026.

Olli Mustonen, piano

Olli Mustonen’s Beethoven recitals are legendary. A few years ago, Mustonen brought together Beethoven’s 32 sonatas into an eight-concert series. The programmes do not progress chronologically; instead, each concert features sonatas from different periods. Some of the sonatas have nicknames, which also serve as titles for the respective concerts. At Helsinki Seriös, the title of the season’s opening concert programme is the Moonlight Sonata.
